BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA

The section on Bosnia & Herzegovina is now open for inputs
The PCD programme has been piloted in Bosnia & Herzegovina in 2006 after a PCD training in the end of 2005, facilitated by a duo of experienced PCD coordinators and facilitators, namely Ljupka Petkovska from Macedonia and Dragan Milosevic from Serbia.

The expriences gathered during the pilot projects in 2006 have shown brilliant examples of committment of the local people and stakeholders.

In one of the cases, where a community center was established, in addition to the contribution of all parties such as municipality (fundaments, electric and water supply), materials from a company, free work of many local volunteers, a person from the community donated his own land for the public benefit.

At present the programme is under implementation in 2 vulnerable communities with Roma, one in Republika Srpska, and the other in the Bosnia Federation.
