Welcome to the Regional Representation of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies for Central Europe!

Our main task is to support the capacity building of Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies in four priority areas: Organizational Development, Disaster Management, Health and Care and Promotion of our Humanitarian Values.

The initial PCD tools were built here and the programme was launched in 2000 as an OD tool aiming to bring the Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies closer to the vulnerable people, develop capacity in communities and thus decrease their vulnerability.

Like VCA, another RC/RC participatory tool, PCD has shown that, in addition to its initial purpose it has a strong effect in reducing social exclusion, marginalization and discrimination.
This is our contribution to our Global Agenda goals 3 and 4.
