Learn how to add your news
When you are in a News section - either PCD news, International news or (main page), or Country news in the country sections click on ADD NEWS on the left - just as is shown below:


LOGIN

You will get into the login area and will be asked for your user name and password. When you enter those, click on Login.


MANAGING THE NEWS

You will see an area showing the different types of information stored and the users. To add news, simply click where it shows. Just note, even if you make a mistake, later on you can return, go to Edit News section where you can correct your news if there is something wrong.


CATEGORIES

Add the category of the message (the categories in the PCD news display which country the news refer to). When you are done, just click on Add News button below. When more countres are involved, click on multiple categories and then you can mark several countries.

Then you add your news. Don't forget the title.


ADDING A PHOTO

To avoid heavy load and to help people with bad internet connection, make sure your photo is no larger then 150-200 Kb, 300 at maximum.

Position your cursor (the mouse) and click in the beginning of the document - (on the left), just before the text, then click " insert image" (on the right). This positioning is good to use if the text is long, as later the photo can be positioned on the right of the text as in a newspaper article.

If the text is one-two sentences only, you write it, then press enter to go to a new line and then just insert the photo without more

A menu will appear, looking like the picture below. Then you click on Browse button below to find your photo in your PC.



It is simple, just as the attachments in your email programme. See below...



After you open the image from the folder on your PC you will see the menu below again and this time you click "Upload".
On the picture below you see that the photo has just been uploaded in Internet. It is NOT placed in the news yet.



Before you place the photo in the news, you need to position it, for longer text it is best - to the right.



Then you insert it, like it shows below.


And you get something like this:


You may still want to adjust the size of the photo, sometimes it is too small, sometimes too big. You can do it inside the news message, by dragging the edges or the corners of the photo so it fits well. Here is the upper example - photo is stretched to become larger. Then you click on Add News. You are done.
